Terms of Service and Privacy Policy

1. Nature of the Service and Free-of-Charge Status for Restaurants

Free expert service: Tukkuvertailu.fi is an impartial B2B search and matching service tailored for restaurants and professional kitchens. Completing the needs assessment, the wholesale supplier mapping, and receiving the kitchen consultation provided through the service are entirely free of charge for the restaurant.
No obligation: Completing the needs assessment does not commit the restaurant to signing a wholesale contract or opening a customer account with any suggested wholesaler.
Independence: Tukkuvertailu.fi operates as an independent expert advisor. The final contract between the wholesaler and the restaurant is executed directly between the respective parties.

Authorization: If the restaurant signs a wholesale agreement or opens a customer account with a wholesaler found through the Tukkuvertailu.fi service, the restaurant authorizes the wholesaler to disclose data regarding the restaurant’s actual monthly purchasing volume (excl. VAT) to Sujuva Keittiö Oy.
Purpose of use: Purchasing volume data is used solely for:
- Verifying and invoicing the performance-based commission between Sujuva Keittiö Oy and the wholesaler.
- Serving as baseline data for the kitchen consultation, margin calculations, and recipe support offered to the restaurant.
Confidentiality: Sujuva Keittiö Oy undertakes to keep all restaurant purchasing data strictly confidential. Data will not be disclosed to third parties or competitor wholesalers.

Collected data: The needs assessment form collects company information (name, Business ID, location, operational model) as well as the contact person’s name, email address, and phone number.
Purpose of processing: Data is processed to execute the wholesale evaluation, forward the lead to the wholesaler chosen by the restaurant, and manage the customer relationship.
Data disclosure: Contact details and the summary of the needs assessment are disclosed only to the wholesaler (or wholesalers) with whom the restaurant has expressed a wish to negotiate. Data is never sold or disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes.

Contractual relationship: Tukkuvertailu.fi acts solely as an intermediary matching service. Sujuva Keittiö Oy is not a party to the commercial agreement between the restaurant and the wholesaler and is not liable for wholesale deliveries, pricing, product quality, or potential delivery delays.
Consultation: The complimentary kitchen consultation is provided as professional advice based on industry expertise, but final responsibility for business decisions and profit margin development always remains with the restaurateur.

These Terms of Service and the use of the service are governed by Finnish law. Any potential disputes will primarily be resolved through negotiation.
